A Prayer of Faith and Trust in God’s Promises, As believers, as followers of Christ we should know the word of God but I believe we need to go beyond just knowing the word of God, we need to have it written on our hearts, we need to have it hidden deep in our souls so that in times of trouble, in times of stress and despair it is the word of God, it is the promises of God that will give us hope and strength and on a personal level I thank God
The Bible is full of His wonderful promises, the Bible is full of reminders that He is a faithful God reminding us that He is always good, even when our circumstances are troubling, He has the bigger picture and that bigger picture will always be better than we can ever imagine and so I want you to take encouragement today from the truth that the Lord is with you, He cares for you and He has given you so many promises so that you can be confident in your faith, thank the Lord because He is good, His love endures forever, because the Lord is good and His love endures forever, His The truth endures to all generations,
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows and finally 2 Samuel 7 28 Lord Lord you are God, your covenant is faithful and you have promised your servant these good things, so we need to proclaim each day, we need to acknowledge and remind ourselves of the goodness of God and so join me now as we pray to Heavenly Father, all the glory, all the honor and all the praise is yours, I want to thank you for your goodness, you are a sovereign Lord and you are a good God, your covenant is faithful, Lord and all the promises you have made to us as your children, you will fulfill them and Lord I know that as long as my eyes are fixed on you,
King Jesus, then I know that I can overcome any storm that comes my way I know that as long as I stay fixed on you Lord I can overcome anything that comes my way I know that as long as I stay fixed on you Lord I can overcome anything that comes my way I will not drown in deep waters I will not burn in the fire So today I pray that you turn your face toward me and give me peace I thank you that in your word you have loved me You have called me friend And that despite my past, despite my mistakes You have loved me with open hands You have loved me despite my weaknesses and imperfections And in your love Lord I know that every single one of my desires is satisfied
Thank you for the assurance that you will never leave me You will never forsake me or turn your back on me I refuse to let Satan steal my joy and strength in the Lord I refuse to let Satan distract me from you Lord And so I look to you for direction in areas that are unknown In areas that are uncertain we look to you Father I pray that the Holy Spirit speaks to me and makes your will clear to me May the Holy Spirit reveal your will for my life Lord So that I can walk in your true kingdom purpose Show me the path that leads to righteousness In your word I find comfort in knowing that you are watching over me
You are the God who keeps my peace, the God who gives me strength, You are the one who sets the table in the face of my enemies, You are the one who fills my cup with blessings, You are the one who anoints my head and You alone are my inheritance and so I am grateful for all the goodness You have done to me and even sometimes when I fall short, sometimes when I stumble and fall, when I am afraid or nervous thinking about the future or the unknown, I pray that You forgive me Lord.
I pray that You strengthen my faith so that I don’t worry about all these different areas, so that I don’t worry about all the things that are not in my control, I pray that You strengthen my faith so that I leave it in Your hands, so that I leave my worries and burdens in Your hands Lord Jesus may I always be covered by Your blood, Your blood that has power even today, I May I always be protected from the attacks of the devil, may I always be hidden from the eyes of the enemy, I declare that only You Lord Jesus has the throne of my heart, You will always have the first place in my life and I ask Holy Spirit, to help me protect my heart from all idols that may try to take the place of God in my life.
Holy Spirit, help me protect myself from idols that demand my attention and my priorities. I will always put the Lord first in my life and Father, I thank you that I am established, I am anointed and I am sealed by the Holy Spirit because your word tells me that in Christ you have been brought to perfection, he is head over every power and authority, so I declare that I have been made perfect in Christ, I have been brought to perfection in Jesus Christ, I am completely devoid of anything, because my God and my Savior is head over every power and authority in heaven and on earth,
Lord because of you, because of the price you paid on the cross, I am now set apart as a child of God, I am consecrated by you and it says do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you received from God, you are not your own, you were consecrated at a price and so Lord, I submit to the Holy Spirit, I submit my body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit, I am thankful that your word tells me that I am not my own and I have been given to God purchased with the blood of a precious Lamb, a lamb without blemish and without spot, I thank you for hearing this prayer in Jesus name, I pray, Amen
